MedNora is a new company formed by Industrie De Nora with ALCAVIS a major providers company in the United States for disinfection products to extend its global portfolio of products and brands. The company will be 51 percent owned by Industrie De Nora and 49 percent owned by Alcavis. MedNora will benefit from ALCAVIS process technology expertise in its production facilities located in Gaithersburg (Maryland).
The demand for disinfection products is on the rise around the world and MedNora has been created to understand and respond to the needs and desires of the consumers. The New company is now responsible for the commercialize and the procurement of Alcavis products and for supporting the licensing process.
This partnership with ALCAVIS is an important step toward establishing De Nora presence in the Disinfection business. By combining the expertise of ALCAVIS and its references in the American market and De Nora know-how we look forward to establishing a strong, closely focused collaboration. We expect the new company to rapidly expand Mednora portfolio of global brands to achieve top-tier status in the growing world market for disinfection products. The business area will expand rapidly in Europe and South America and Asia taking advantage, in these two continents, of well-established De Nora presence through its subsidiaries in Brazil, India and China.
Based Alcavis experience the new company will satisfy its customers and distributors needs with a dedicated Customer Care Service using the De Nora and Alcavis structure located in Milan.
