In the seventies, when metallic anodes coated with MMO Anodes were initially commercialized, Permelec (now wholly owned by De Nora) started manufacturing the anodic structures and offering them to its customers on a Lease basis. They guaranteed continuous electrode efficiency via a scheduled maintenance and re-coating service under its full responsibility and expense. Today, De Nora owns more than 80,000 anodic structures installed in amalgam plants and almost 200,000 anodes installed in diaphragm technology plants: the world’s largest DSA® anodes structures inventory. De Nora is always available to study and prepare finance schemes based on a lease contract, in particular when working with partners like Uhde and Uhdenora, also for the IEM technology, even if for such a technology the anodes and cathodes are an integral part of the Electrolyzer structures.

Service

De Nora maintains a staff of trained professionals to assist you with any installation or troubleshooting issue that may arise on your plants, to make sure that every customer receives maximum flexibility and maximum productivity from their production cells or plants. De Nora Technical Assistance has four targets.

  • Upgrade Present Plants using all the available new technology for data storage in operating plants.
  • Monitoring Electrodes Operating data. Besides traditional services, De Nora offers its customers the most modern communication methods using remote diagnostics and support service.
  • Evaluation on Electrodes Status through a continuous coating service and control on plants and in laboratory.
  • Training the Customer’s technicians is one of the first and most important steps in the fast implementation and effective introduction of a hi-technology in an industrial environment.

De Nora Customer Training Staff strictly co-operates with R&D Departments to be always updated on the newest technical solutions and to share with them experiences collected in the field. The staff is trained to introduce the basic concepts of using, programming and maintaining the plants in order to make the most of the potential benefits. De Nora worldwide service network assures De Nora Customers a quick response to their needs for:

  • Preventative maintenance: De Nora can prepare a customized Preventive Maintenance agreement that provides budgetary predictability and maintenance during scheduled downtime.
  • Maintenance contracts: Our expert technicians will regularly visit the Customer and perform all necessary inspections and preventive maintenance operations according to a fixed program.
  • Spare Parts & Service activity: From the supply of spare parts, components and service to the supply of energy saving technologies.
